Earned a total of eight letters at Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Missouri: four each in cross country and track & field under the guidance of head coach Sean O’Conner … As a freshman, both the cross country and track & field teams were State Champions … His sophomore year, was a member of the 4×800-meter relay State Champion team … Cross country team claimed the district championship his junior year of 2017 … Cross country Class 4 District 2 Champion … Three-time all-state runner in s2017-18 as well (cross country, eighth place; two-mile, third place and runner-up in the 4×800-meter relay) … In his senior year as a Lancer, the cross country team won the sectional title … Once again was named a three-time all-state honoree (cross country, sixth place; one-mile, seventh place and 4×800-meter relay, sixth place) … Garnered multiple awards while running cross country: 2015 Rookie of the Year, 2017 All-Metro First Team and 2018 All-Metro Second Team … 2016-17 Choice Award recipient … A National Honor Society member (20117-19) … Four-time Bronze Scholar Athlete (2015-19).
