Banks Floodman started at Kansas Athletics in August of 2008 and serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Development. His main responsibility is taking care of fund-raising for both annual donations and capital projects. He also focuses on project development and strategic planning.
Floodman was born in Wichita, Kan. where he attended Wichita Collegiate High School. He was a three-sport standout, playing football, baseball and track.
He earned a football scholarship to Kansas and was a four-year lettermen and three-year captain for the Jayhawks from 2002-05. He graduated from KU with a degree in economics in 2006 and earned his master[apos]s degree in sports administration in 2008. He completed a MBA in Finance from KU in 2012 and currently serves as an advisor on KU[apos]s Leadership Council.
While working on his Sports Administration master[apos]s degree, Floodman was a graduate assistant at KU working in the ticket office, licensing and marketing.
Floodman is married to Erica Floodman who is currently finishing her Master[apos]s Degree in Anesthesia. He enjoys reading, running and spending time with his wife.
