High School: An All-District First Team selection for the Raiders as a senior and All-District Second Team selection in 2003… Was No. 42 on the Dallas Morning News[apos] list of top 100 area recruits… Listed among the top 100 recruits in the state of Texas by Rivals.com… Named the team MVP as a sophomore… Coached in football by David Farris… Earned varsity letters in football, baseball and track… Was a regional qualifier in track in 2003 and 2004… A member of the varsity baseball team as a freshman… Traveled to Cuba as a member of the Junior Olympic baseball team.
