2006 (So.): Appeared in all 12 games with a pair of starting assignments in the secondary… Collected 11 total tackles, including 10 solo stops… Forced one pass break-up… Posted a season-high five tackles against Louisiana-Monroe.

2005 (Fr.): Saw action in eight contests primarily on special teams as a member of the punt return unit… Provided depth in the Jayhawk secondary at the safety position.

High School: A 2003 preseason All-American for Cardinal Ritter College Prep in St. Louis, Mo…. Named All-Region by PrepStar Magazine… Led the Lions to a district championship in 2002 and a conference title in 2001… On defense, he made 57 solo tackles, had 10 assists and made two interceptions… Best single-game performance saw him intercept a pair of passes, score two offensive touchdowns, record three sacks and return an INT for a score… As a quarterback, he completed 46 of 99 passes for 1,001 yards and six touchdowns… Also rushed for 243 yards and had 210 yards receiving… Earned varsity letters in football, basketball and track… Coached by Ron Villars.
