KU Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week (vs. Appalachian State)

2007 (Jr.): Played in all 13 games… Saw time in the secondary, as well as on special teams… Recorded eight tackles… Shared in one tackle for loss… Had a season-best four tackles against Florida International… Made two stops against Toledo… Had one tackle against both Baylor and Iowa State.

2006 (So.): Played in all 12 games during the season, but did not record any statistics.

2005 (Fr.): Was moved to safety during spring drills… Appeared in eight games on special teams as a member of the punt return and kickoff units… Gained valuable experience as a running back on the scout team offense… Chosen by the coaches as the scout team offensive player of the week for the Appalachian State game.

High School: Named All-Canadian and All-Conference after his senior season… Was the team[apos]s offensive player of the year as a junior… Earned varsity letters in football and track and field for the Sabres… Helped the team to three province championships… Sandwich was ranked the top team in Canada on two occasions during his tenure at the school… Once ran for 350 yards and four touchdowns in the first half of a game… Coached in football by John Bloomfield.
