2008 (Jr.): Was one of three backs used by Kansas in the non-conference season… Rushed for 232 yards on 62 carries on the season as a top backup… In season opener against Florida International he ran for 32 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries… Had most carries of the season against Sam Houston State when he rushed 12 times for 43 yards and a score… Best yardage game was 44 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown against Texas Tech… Had 42 yards on seven carries against Texas… Also played on special teams and made nine tackles on kickoff coverage.

Junior College: Named junior college offensive player of the year by the NJCAA as a sophomore in 2007… Was a NJCAA and JC Gridwire First-Team All-American… Rushed for a national junior college-leading 1,935 yards and 19 touchdowns on 283 attempts as a sophomore… His 19 touchdowns were second in the nation and his 118 points were third… His 1,935 yards were the most by a NJCAA running back since 2000… Rushed for 328 yards and three touchdowns against Trinity Valley… Had five 200-yard rushing games as a sophomore… Had 1,069 yards and eight touchdowns on 225 carries as a freshman… Earned All-Conference First-Team honors as a freshman.
