2007 (Jr.): Started the first nine games of the year at one of the safety positions before suffering an injury… Was credited with 22 tackles on the season, all coming in the first nine games of the year… Recovered a fumble against Central Michigan in the season opener… Had three tackles in that game against the Chippewas… Best tackle games were four at both Kansas State and at Colorado… Also had three stops against Florida International.

Junior College: Was a two-year letterwinner… Ranked as one of the top 50 junior college defensive backs in the nation by Rivals.com… Named All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2005 and 2006… Recorded 73 total tackles, including one sack as a sophomore… Also added three forced fumbles, three pass break ups and an interception in 2006… Had 73 tackles and an interception as a freshman.

High School: Was an All-District First Team selection as a senior at both defensive back and tight end… Named to the All-Greater Houston team as a defensive back in 2006… Earned letters in football and baseball… A member of the National Honor Society.
