2007 (So.): Ranked 14th in the NCAA and fourth in the Big 12 in passing efficiency (148.82), 26th in the NCAA and fourth in the Big 12 in total offense (283.31)… Also ranked 11th nationally in points responsible for (16.62), 20th in passing yards (268.15) and 33rd in completions (21.23)… Set a number of school records (listed below)… Started all 13 games at quarterback…Threw for a school record 3,486 yards and a school mark 33 touchdowns, while hitting 61.9 percent of his attempts… Threw only seven interceptions on the year… Was the team[apos]s third-leading rusher with 197 yards and three scores… Ran for 84 yards at Colorado, which included his season-long run of 53 yards… In his first collegiate start he was 20 of 29 for 261 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in the season opener against Central Michigan… Opened the year without throwing an interception in the first three games (119 consecutive attempts without an interception)… Later in the season he set a Big 12 season record of 213 consecutive attempts without an interception… Did not throw an interception in nine of 13 games and recorded at least 25 attempts in all but one game… In four non-conference regular season games he averaged 299 yards passing despite not playing a single down in the fourth quarter of any of those games… Threw for 300 yards in five different games… Season best was a 368-yard night against Florida International… Threw for 354 yards and a school-record six touchdowns against Nebraska… Threw four touchdown passes in four different games… Opened the game against Iowa State hitting on 19 of his first 20 attempts, as the lone incompletion was on a throw away, while trying to avoid a sack.

2006 (Fr.): Came off the bench to participate in three games, seeing action against Colorado, Iowa State and Missouri… Completed 14 of 24 passes and threw three touchdowns on the year… Averaged 8.2 yards per carry on 13 attempts including a season-long 63-yarder against Colorado — the longest run by any KU signal-caller during the entire season… Had two rushing touchdowns… Entered the Colorado game in the third quarter and completed seven-of-11 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns in his collegiate debut… Earned KU[apos]s offensive player of the week honors following the contest against the Buffs.

High School: Was the 4A Player of the Year in the state of Texas as a junior and Central Texas Player of the Year as a senior… Threw for 3,340 yards and 41 touchdowns with just five interceptions in 2005… Also rushed for 750 yards and eight TDs during his final high school season… Ranked first in the state of Texas by completing 72.3 percent of his pass attempts as a senior… Named District MVP as a junior and senior… Was an all-state first team quarterback in 2004 and third-team punter in 2005… Earned academic all-state and all-district honors… Led the Cavaliers to their first 10-0 record in school history… Led the team to district and bi-district championships in 2005 and the district championship in 2004… Coached in football by Jeff Dicus… Earned varsity letters in football and baseball… Earned all-district second team honors as an outfielder in baseball… A member of the National Honor Society… Was in the top one percent of the 2005 graduating class at Lake Travis High School.

Personal: Born in Austin, Texas… Is working on a double major in economics and finance… Would like to study abroad and attend graduate school… Hobbies include tennis, dancing and music… Son of Steve and Debi Reesing… Has one brother and one sister… Brother plays baseball at Purdue… Graduated from high school early and arrived at KU in January of 2006 to practice with the team.
