2010 (Sr.): Earned Academic all-district for the second straight years… Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors… Named KU defensive player of the week vs. Southern Mississippi… Was KU[apos]s strong side linebacker and started the three games KU used three linebackers… Was fourth on the team with 64 tackles… Had five tackles for loss and forced and recovered a fumble… Best tackle game was nine vs. Missouri in season finale… Had eight tops in back-to-back weeks against Georgia Tech and at Southern Mississippi… Forced and recovered a fumble against Georgia Tech.

2009 (Jr.): Earned Associated Press All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors… Named a Big 12 Community of Champions honoree… Earned academic all-district first-team honors… Tabbed an Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection… Earned the team[apos]s most improved defensive player honor… Finished second on the team with 88 tackles… Recorded 8.5 tackles for loss, including three sacks… Was credited with six quarterback hurries, while also recovering a fumble… Started nine games, including each of the first seven contests… Recorded a sack in each of the first three games… Posted 17 tackles at Colorado… Had 10 stops vs. Southern Mississippi… Twice had nine tackles in a game – vs. Nebraska and at Texas… Had at least seven tackles in eight games… Recovered a fumble against Missouri.

2008 (So.): Played in all 13 games as a backup linebacker and special teams member… Recorded 12 tackles on the year… Opened the year with three tackles against Florida International and then had two stops against Louisiana Tech… Had two tackles against Colorado… Blocked a field goal attempt by Minnesota in the Insight Bowl… Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors.

2007 (Fr.): Played in all 13 games as a true freshman… Saw action at linebacker, as well as on special teams… Was credited with 13 tackles on the year… Was in on one tackle for loss on the year… Had a three-tackle performance against Iowa State… Made two tackles against Toledo, Florida International and Missouri.

High School: Ranked as the 19th-best inside linebacker in the nation by ESPN.com… Collected all-state third team honors after his senior season in 2006… Was also named all-central Texas district first team and was the district[apos]s defensive MVP after his final year of eligibility… Named all-district first team and all-area first team as a junior in 2005… Posted 128 total tackles including eight quarterback sacks with one interception during his senior campaign… Helped the Tigers to the district championship in 2006 and the state semifinals in 2005… Earned varsity letters in football and power lifting… Coached in football by Jim Slaughter… A member of the National Honor Society and Leadership Brazos organizations… An academic all-state selection.

Personal: Born in College Station, Texas… Major is civil engineering… Hobbies include fishing and playing poker… Also likes bowling… Son of Mark and Deanie Dudley… Has two siblings… Mother was a hurdler for the Texas A&M track team…. Sister played volleyball at Trinity University.
