Career Honors: 2010: KU Compete Team Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Nebraska.

2010 (RS): Named KU special teams compete team player of the week vs. Nebraska… Redshirted his first year at Kansas.

High School: Was an all-state first-team selection as a defensive back as a senior… Earned second-team honors as a junior… Recorded 320 career tackles to go along with nine interceptions, 16 PBUs and seven forced fumbles… As a senior he had 10 tackles, four interceptions, nine PBUs, five tackles for loss and three forced fumbles… Also played quarterback and threw for 1,500 yards while rushing for more than 700 yards… Team was state runner-up his senior season… As a junior quarterback he passed for 254 yards and ran for 142 more… Played safety, linebacker, quarterback, running back and long snapper during his prep career… Also competed in baseball, basketball and track.

Personal: Born in Waterloo, Iowa… Son of Mark and Lori Farley… Father is the head football coach at Northern Iowa and was an assistant coach at Kansas from 1997-2000… Has one brother and one sister… Plans to major in business… Would like to be in the business world or coaching profession after graduation… Main hobbies are fishing and hunting, but he also likes to wake board and water ski.
