Career Honors: 2007: Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.

2009 (Jr.): Started three games at free safety… Started against UTEP, Duke and Missouri… Recorded 23 tackles on the season, including one tackle for loss… Broke up one pass against Duke… Ten of his 23 tackles on the year came in the season finale against Missouri… Had five tackles at Texas in the 11th game for second-best tackle game.

2008 (So.): Became the starter at free safety for the final six games of the year… First start was against Texas Tech… Posted 36 tackles on the year… Twenty-eight of his 36 stops came in the final seven games of the season, including seven at Nebraska… Recorded four tackles in each of the last three games against Texas, Missouri and Minnesota… Recorded two interceptions in the season-opener against FIU… Blocked a last-second field goal attempt by Missouri that would have tied the game and forced overtime.

2007 (Fr.): Recorded five tackles as a backup cornerback and on special teams… Credited with two passes broken-up… Broke up passes against Toledo and Nebraska… Had two tackles in back-to-back games against Toledo and Florida International… Added another stop against Nebraska… Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors.

2006 (RS): Redshirted his first season at Kansas.

High School: Named all-state first team and all-district first team as a junior and a senior… Earned KC Metro defensive player of the year honors in 2005… Helped the Hawklets to district titles from 2003-05… Collected eight tackles and a pair of interceptions in the game versus Lee[apos]s Summit… Ranked as the No. 9 player in the state of Missouri by Rivals.com… Had five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns versus Blue Springs… Coached in football by Tony Severino… Earned varsity letters in football, basketball and track.

Personal: Born in Kansas City, Mo… Majoring in business marketing and business finance… Would like to create advertising commercials… Can play piano and is fluent in Spanish… Son of Brenda and Charles Strozier… Brother, Noah, and uncle, Arthur, played football at K-State…Uncle also played for the San Diego Chargers… Father is enshrined in the Central Missouri State Basketball Hall of Fame.
