Career Honors: 2010: Academic All-Big 12 First Team. 2009: KU Offensive Compete Team Player of the Week vs. Iowa State.

2012 (Jr.):Saw action against South Dakota State… Missed the final 11 games of the 2012 season with an injury.

2011 (So.): Played in 11 games as a reserve offensive lineman… Helped Jayhawk offense rack up 534 yards, including 253 on the ground, against NIU… Also helped the KU offense gain 404 yards, including 296 rushing yards, against Baylor.

2010 (RFr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors… Saw time as a backup tackle and on special teams during the year.

2009 (Fr.): Redshirted his first year at KU… Named Offensive Scout Player of the Week vs. Iowa State.

High School: A three-year letterwinner at Hesston HS… Played offensive tackle, defensive tackle, defensive end and punter… Was an all-state selection on the offensive line as a senior… Earned all-league first team honors as a senior and honorable mention accolades as a sophomore and junior… Team was 6-3 his senior season… Also played basketball.
