Career Honors: 2010: KU Compete Team Special Teams Player of the Year, KU Compete Team Defensive Player of the Week vs. Baylor and Kansas State, KU Compete Team Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Georgia Tech and Iowa State.

2012 (So.): Played in 11 games… Missed the TCU game… Collected six tackles… Recorded first tackle of the season against Rice… Added two solo stops at Northern Illinois… Collected single tackles against Oklahoma State and Texas.

2011 (RFr.): Played in 10 games, seeing time on defense and special teams … Tallied three tackles against Northern Illinois, including a pair of solo stops … Had one tackle in five other games.

2010 (Fr.): Selected KU compete team special teams player of the year… Named KU compete team defensive player of the week vs. Baylor and Kansas State… Named KU special teams compete team player of the week vs. Georgia Tech and Iowa State… Redshirted his first season at Kansas.

High School: Earned first-team all-district honors as a free safety as a senior… Recorded 51 tackles in 11 games… As a junior he was an all-district second-team selection… Earned honorable mention all-district honors as a sophomore… In his career he recorded 221 tackles with three interceptions, nine PBUs and four caused fumbles… Also returned kickoffs… His senior year he registered 77 tackles, four passes broken up and caused two fumbles… Offensively he had 13 catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns… Played wide receiver and safety… Also competed in track and basketball.
