2011 (So.): Played on special teams against McNeese State, Kansas State, at Texas A&M and Missouri… Has not recorded any stats.

2010 (Fr.): Played in 10 games seeing action as a backup linebacker and on special teams… Was credited with six tackles on the year… Had three tackles at Baylor… Made two tackles the next week against Kansas State… Also had one tackle at Iowa State and at Nebraska.

2009 (RS): Redshirted his first year at KU.

High School: Was an all-conference selection, while lettering three years as a fullback and linebacker… Also played baseball and competed in track.

Personal: Born in Darien, Wis… Son of Steve and Cathy Mestan… Has one sister… Uncle Jerry Uger played baseball for the Detroit Tigers… Major is education… Likes to play video games and the drums.
