Career Honors: 2011: Named to the Phil Steele Midseason All-Big 12 Third Team … Named KU’s Defensive Player of the Week four times (Sept. 3, Oct. 8, Oct. 15 and Oct. 29) … Awarded title of team captain prior to senior season.

2011 (Sr.): Led the Big 12 in total tackles (124), which also ranked 21st in the nation … Made double digit tackles in eight of 12 games … Recorded a career-high 18 stops at Texas … His 18 tackles were the most by a Jayhawk since 2003 … Recorded 15 stops against McNeese State to be named KU’s Defensive Player of the Week … Had two tackles behind the line of scrimmage … Forced a fumble on fourth-and-short, which ended McNeese State’s final drive … Made 11 stops at Georgia Tech … Had 12 tackles against Texas Tech, including two stops for a loss … Added seven tackles at Oklahoma State … Had 13 tackles in back-to-back contests against Oklahoma and Kansas State … Had five stops at Iowa State, including his sixth behind the line of scrimmage … Made 10 tackles and recovered a fumble against Baylor … Recorded five tackles and forced a fumble at Texas A&M … Made ten stops in team’s final game versus Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium.
