Career Honors: 2012: Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors. 2011: KU Compete Team Offensive Player of the Week vs. Baylor. 2010: KU Compete Team Offensive Player of the Week vs. Colorado.

2012 (So.): Served as team[apos]s holder in all 12 games… Completed first collegiate pass on a fake field goal to pick up a first down at Kansas State… Also rushed twice for one yard on a pair of fake field goal attempts.

2011 (RFr.): Did not see any game action.

2010 (Fr.): Named KU offensive compete team player of the week vs. Colorado… Redshirted the season.

High School: Lettered four times in football… Also lettered in basketball (four times) and baseball (once)… Played on four state championship teams (2009 in football, three in basketball)… Named all-state in both football and basketball as a senior… Set the all-time Kansas single-season records for passing yards (3,884) and TDs thrown (48)… Was named to the 2009 Top 11 Team by the Wichita Eagle… Led Collegiate High School to a 23-1 record over his final two seasons, including 14-0 in 2009 and helped basketball team to a 51-1 record over his final two years… Made 10 three-pointers in one game.
