2012: Named Academic All-Big 12 First Team. 2011: Earned a spot on the team[apos]s Dean[apos]s List and the Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA during spring semester.

2012 (RFr.): Played in all 12 games, seeing time on both special teams and the offensive line… Made his collegiate debut in season opener against South Dakota State… Saw his first action on offense at Oklahoma, when he replaced an injured Trevor Marrongelli for two series.

2011 (Fr.): Redshirted during his first year at KU.

High School: Graduated high school early and is enrolled at KU this spring… Ranked as the sixth-best player in the state of Kansas, as well as the 30th-best guard in the nation by Rivals.com… Named first-team 6A all-state by the Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital Journal… Was a first-team all-Eastern Kansas League pick as both a senior and a junior… Was honorable mention all-metro by the Kansas City Star… Selected to play in the All-American Gridiron Game as well as the Kansas Shrine Bowl all-star game… Recorded 67 pancake blocks as a senior.
