Luke Luhrsen

2012 (RFr.): Played in three games, making collegiate debut at Texas Tech… Also played vs. Iowa State and at West Virginia on the offensive line.

2011 (Fr): Redshirted during his first year at KU.

High School: Was an all-state, all-area and all-conference honoree as a senior… Team won state titles in both his junior and senior seasons… Team also won conference championship each year… Team only lost one football game during his prep career… Played offensive guard and offensive tackle while earning two letters… Also lettered four seasons in hockey, two years in lacrosse and one year in track… Had a hockey hat trick and won a conference title in the shot put.

Personal: Born in Wheaton, Ill… Son of Kris and Diane Luhrsen… Has two siblings… Dad wrestled at Indiana… Grandfather played football at Illinois… Has cousins who play or played college volleyball… Plans to major in business… Main hobby is music… Can play the drums, guitar, ukulele and piano.
