High School: Completed a decorated prep career at Hesston HS of the Central Kansas League (CKL) … Accumulated six school records and was a two-time First Team All-State running back, along with a first-team bid at defensive back, in his senior season … Holds the second all-time rank in the state of Kansas for rushing yards in a game with 525 and eight touchdowns in a game against El Dorado … Led the state with 2,541 rushing yards and 42 total touchdowns in 2013 on his way to being named the Kansas Athlete of the Year … Took home the Kansas Class 4A Football Player of the Year award in 2013-14 … Garnered consecutive First Team All-CKL honors his junior and senior seasons … A three-time CKL Conference champion with the Swathers and head coach Clint Rider … Earned 12 letters during his tenure with the Swathers … A three-time Kansas state champion in track and a second-team all-state member of the HHS state champion basketball team his senior year … Member of the honor roll throughout high school and graduated with a 3.56 grade point average.
