2020 (RFr.): Academic All-Big 12 Football Second Team … Played in eight of KU’s nine games for the season, earing starting nods in a pair of contests … Stood out for the Jayhawks on the defensive line, registering two sacks … Collected 14 tackles (11 solo and three assisted) in his eight games played … Included were 2.0 TFL for a loss of 13 total yards … That pair of TFL came from his 2.0 sacks on the year … In addition, he hurried the opponents’ quarterbacks on two ocassions. Coastal Carolina: Made an appearance in the season opener against the Chanticleers, did not record any stats … at Baylor: Recorded two solo tackles after starting his second-consecutive game of the season … Oklahoma State: Set a new career high in tackles with four (three solo, one assisted) against OSU, doubling his previous best mark … Included was 1.0 TFL for a loss of eight yards … at West Virginia: Earned his first-career start at defensive tackle for the Jayhawks after playing in all four games so far this season … Recorded three total tackles (one solo, two assisted) against the Mountaineers … at Kansas State: Made a solo tackle in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown … Iowa State: Tied his career high with 1.0 sack in the first quarter against the Cyclones … Only two Jayhawks from 2019 had more sacks than Terry’s 2.0 sacks in 2020, Azur Kamara (3.5-22) and Darrius Moragne (2.5-13) … This was also his second starting nod of the season, having played in all six contests so far … TCU: Returned to the field against the Horned Frogs after missing the game at Oklahoma … Made a solo tackle on the afternoon … at Texas Tech: Added another solo tackle to his season stats in Lubbock, now with 11 of his 14 tackles being of the solo variety … Saw playing time for the eighth time vs. the Red Raiders, out of KU’s nine contests this year.
2019 (Fr.): Played in the first two games of the season before taking a redshirt for the year … Tallied two solo tackles during his playing time. Indiana State: Contributed one tackle to the Jayhawks’ total of 62 for the game … Coastal Carolina: Made one solo tackle vs. the Chanticleers … at Boston College: Saw playing time, but did not record any statistics.
High School: Selected to play in the 2018 Mississippi Association of Coaches Bernard Blackwell All-Star game … Played for head coach Calvin Hampton at Meridian High School.
