Spirit Squad Director, Cathy Jarzemkoski, and head Rock Chalk Dance Coach, Katie Burris, are excited to announce the 2022-2023 University of Kansas Rock Chalk Dancers team on Wednesday evening.

The Kansas Jayhawks play their final regular season series of the season this week as they travel to Austin, Texas, to face the No. 17 ranked Texas Longhorns. The series begins on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. CT on Longhorn Network.

Kansas Rowing freshman Melia Martin has been named the Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Year. The conference announced postseason rowing specialty awards on Wednesday afternoon.

Head coach Carrie Cook-Callen and the Kansas Rowing staff announced the team’s 2021-22 team awards on Monday at the team’s annual banquet, which was held in the Burge Union.

Former Kansas Soccer student-athlete Regan Gibbs died on Monday at the age of 25. Gibbs was a goalkeeper for the Jayhawks soccer program from 2015-18. A native of Naches, Wash., Gibbs was a member of two NCAA Tournament teams during her career at KU.

Kansas had a program-record 31 student-athletes named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Rowing team, which was announced on Tuesday by the conference office. The Jayhawks 31 selections was the second-most of the seven programs who compete in the Big 12 for rowing.

Tuesday night's game between Kansas and Missouri at Hoglund Ballpark has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather. The game will not be made up.

The Kansas Jayhawks will host the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. CT at Hoglund Ballpark in their final home game of the season. The first 250 fans will receive a rally towel.

The Kansas Men’s Golf Team is in seventh place after the opening round of the NCAA Bryan Regional at the Traditions Golf Club. The Jayhawks shot a 1-over, 289 as a team to open the tournament.

Kansas track and field closed out the final day of the Big 12 Outdoor Championship in a hot and sunny Lubbock, Texas on Sunday, which was highlighted by a pair of individual Big 12 titles.

The Kansas Softball Team will continue its season after being selected to the 12-team National Invitational Softball Championships on Sunday evening.
