For the third time in program history, Kansas is headed to the Sweet Sixteen following a 3-1 victory over No. 20 Creighton on Friday night at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha. KU won the match by set scores of 25-13, 26-24, 19-25, 25-22.
After taking down No. 19 Oregon 3-0, the Kansas Jayhawks are moving on to face the No. 20 (14) Creighton Bluejays in the Round of 32 in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. That match will take place on Friday, Dec. 2, and first serve is set for 7 p.m. CT.
The Kansas Jayhawks had seven players named All-Big 12 on Thursday, the league announced, headlined by a pair of second-team selections in defensive end Kyron Johnson and safety Kenny Logan Jr. The Jayhawks also had five players named to honorable mention All-Big 12.
