Full name is Jalen Derale Wilson … Born in Arlington, Texas … Parents are Lisa and Derale Wilson … Has two siblings, Jace (15) and Jevin (9) … Mother was an Oklahoma State signee who tore her ACL and played college basketball at Seminole State College and later Oklahoma City University … Father played collegiate basketball at TCU and professionally in Europe … Enjoys playing video games and listening to and making music … Originally signed with Michigan but reopened his recruitment with the coaching change and committed to Kansas in June 2019 … Communication studies major and sport management minor … Plans on graduating in May of 2023.
