Bio

Cacy Williams finished her third season at Kansas as the Director of Operations with the Jayhawk softball program in 2021 handling travel, budget and day-to-day operations of the program. Williams joined the staff at KU following a two-year stint in the same position at her alma mater, Wichita State. In 2018, Williams was part of the staff that guided the Shockers to the NCAA Tournament.

As a softball standout from 2014-16 with the Shockers, the Kansas City, Mo., native set the career home run record with 39 and also set the career RBI record with 133. In 2016, Williams was named a Missouri Valley Conference First-Team selection for the third-straight season as well as being named the MVC Player of the Year for the second time.

In 2014, Williams was named both the MVC Player of the Year and MVC Newcomer of the Year becoming the only player in conference history to earn both honors within the same season while also earning NFCA Division-I All-Midwest Region First Team selection. During the 2014 season, Williams set school records in seven categories: batting average (.424), slugging percentage (.812), on-base percentage (.531), total bases (138), runs scored (57), home runs (16) and RBIs (47).

In 2013, while at Emporia State, Williams earned MIAA Freshman-of-the-Year honors, second team All-MIAA Designated Player, second team NFCA All-Region Designated Player, and second team Daktronics All-Central Region Designated Player.

Williams concluded her playing career at Wichita State by earning a masters of education in sports management.
