Recorded a third place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a wind-aided, personal-best time of 14.04 seconds and posted a third place finish in the long jump with a wind-aided mark of 7.50 meters (24-7.25 ft.) at the Battle on the Bayou (4/6) … Recorded personal bests in all three of his events, winning the 110-meter hurdles with a wind-aided time of 13.71 seconds (+4.8), placing first in the high jump with a clearance of 2.11 meters (6-11 ft.) and finishing fifth in the long jump with a wind-aided mark of 7.54 meters (24-9 ft.) at the 92nd Kansas Relays (4/17-20) … Placed second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.89 seconds to become the No. 9 performer in KU history… Big 12 Outdoor Champion in the men’s 110-meter hurdles, clocking a 13.72 in the finals to win the event, becoming the first Jayhawk in Big 12 history to win the event … Placed third in the men’s high jump at the Big 12 Championship meet, clearing 2.05m (6-08.75 ft.) … Placed seventh in the men’s long jump final, leaping 7.54m (24-9 ft.) … His 18 points scored earned him the Big 12 men’s co-high point scorer of the meet … Ran the second-fastest 110-meter hurdle time at the NCAA West Preliminary (5/23-5/25), running a 13.63, which is the third-fastest performance in KU history, while making him the No. 3 performer in KU history.

Made his Kansas debut with a third-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.18 meters (26-6.75 ft.) at the Jayhawk Classic (1/25-1/26) … Ran a personal-best time of 8.53 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles prelims and finished second in the long jump with a mark of 7.28 meters (23-10.75 ft.) at the Texas Tech Open (2/1-2/2) … Recorded a personal-best time of 8.14 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles qualifiers at the Tyson Invitational (2/8-2/9), tying the No. 10 performer in KU history … Finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdle finals at the Arkansas Qualifier (2/15), clocking in with a personal-best time of 8.06 seconds to become the No. 7 performer in KU history and posted a personal best in the long jump, with a winning jump of 7.49 meters (24-7 ft.) … Posted a personal-best time of 7.92 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle prelims to become the No. 6 performer in KU history and went on to finish fifth in the 60-meter hurdle finals with a time of 7.95 seconds at the Big 12 Indoor Championship (2/22-2/23) and posted a third place finish in the high jump with a mark of 2.19 meters (7-2.25 ft.) for the No. 4 performance, becoming the No. 3 performer in KU history and recorded a seventh place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.34 meters (24-1 ft.).

HIGH SCHOOL

Was a three-sport standout at Bay Port high school, competing in football, basketball and track & field … Was a First Team All-Conference selection in football his senior season, leading Bay Port to an 11-1 record … Two-time state champion in track and field … Set the WIAA Division I State record in the triple jump in 2017, leaping 14.99m (49-2.25 ft.) … Won the long and triple jump titles at the 2018 WIAA State meet and was a runner-up in both the high jump and 110-meter hurdles …  In his senior season of football, he hauled in 70 catches for 964 yards and nine touchdowns … Also received interest from Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois State, Toledo, UCF, and others.
