Took gold in the season-opening Bob Timmons Classic 5K (8/31) with a time of 18:49.7, leading the Jayhawks to a team victory as well … Placed first overall in the women’s 6K run at the Rim Rock Collegiate Classic (10/5) with a time of 22:59.3, while leading Kansas to a team victory (31 points) … Ryan is undefeated on her home course this season, as are the Jayhawks … KU’s first finisher at the Pre-National Invitational (10/19), crossing the finish line in 21:44.3 to place 129th among a field of 252 of some of the best runners in the nation in the Women’s 6K Blue Race … The Jayhawks’ third runner to cross the finish line at the Big 12 Championship (11/2) … Her 6K time of 21:57.1 placed her 36th individually, while the women’s team ran to a sixth-place finish.

Made her track debut with a first place finish in the 1,000-meter run at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular (1/18) clocking in with a time of 2:54.55 … Finished with a time of 2:09.98 in the 800-meter run at the ISU Classic (2/8-2/9) … A member of the distance medley relay team that finished third with a combined time of 10:58.31, posting the school record and the No. 7 time in the NCAA this season at the Alex Wilson Invitational (2/16) … Set personal bests in both the prelims and the finals of the 1,000-meter run, finishing third with a time of 2:49.73 in the finals for the No. 7 performance and becoming the No. 6 performer in KU history at the Big 12 Indoor Championship (2/22-2/23) … Earned Second Team All-America honors as a member of the distance medley relay team that placed 11th at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/8-9).

Made her collegiate debut at the Pre-National Invitational (10/13) where she finished second for the Jayhawks and 78th overall in the women’s 6K race with a time of 21:35.06 … Earned All-Big 12 honors, finishing 13th at the Big 12 Championship (10/26) with a time of 20:55.1 … Clocked in at 21:28.3 at the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/9), finishing third for the Jayhawks and 41st overall.

Earned a total of five letters in cross country and track & field for head coach and Kansas track & field alum Clif Mitchell at Jenks High School … Helped the Trojans to a 6A team state championships in 2015 and a runner-up finish at the state meet in 2016 … Set the Oklahoma state record and state meet record in the 800-meter run (2:09.28) in 2017, breaking the record set in 2003 … Broke the Oklahoma state record in the 1,600-meter run (4:51.55) in 2018 … Broke the Jenks HS record in the 800 meters (2:08.74) in 2018, which would have been a state record, but was not ran in the state of Oklahoma … Named the Jim Thorpe Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018 and the Oklahoma Gatorade Athlete of the Year in the same years … Earned the 2018 Tulsa World Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year award … Also earned letters in fast pitch softball and slow pitch softball.

Daughter of Keith and Lisa Ryan … Has two siblings; an older sister, Bailey, and a twin sister, Kendall … Plans to major in exercise science and data analytics.
