Competed at New Mexico Junior College prior to coming to Kansas, where she was a member of one indoor and two outdoor national championships… She recorded two top-5 performances at the NJCAA DI Outdoor track and field championships in 2019, including a third place finish in the 4×400 and a fourth place finish in the 400 meters.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-time letterwinner at Lee’s Summit high school in track and field… Holds the school record in the 200 meters and 400 meters… Was a member of 3x conference championship teams, 3x district championship teams and 2x state championship teams… Was voted 4x most valuable sprinter.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Eddie and Erin Sermons… Has two siblings, Edmond and Xavier… Plans to major in molecular, cellular and developmental biology.
