2021 OUTDOOR (Fr.)
Made his outdoor debut at the Mizzou Spring Opener, jumping a wind-aided 7.02m (23-0.5 ft.) in the long jump to place second … Jumped a personal best 7.06m (23-2 ft.) in the long jump at the ORU Invitational, winning the event.

2021 INDOOR (Fr.)
Began his season at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular, jumping a personal best 1.80m (5-10.75 ft.) in the high jump, placing eighth, while also placing fifth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump … Placed second in the long jump at the Iowa State Classic, jumping 6.96m (22-10 ft.) … Placed 12th in the long jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championship, jumping 6.59m (21-7.5 ft.).

2020 INDOOR (Fr.)
Made his KU debut at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/6), competing in the shot put, long jump and 60 meters … Made his heptathlon debut at the Jayhawk Classic (1/23-1/24), scoring 4,185 points … Set a new personal best in the heptathlon at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (2/7-2/8), scoring 4,385 points to place eighth.

Was an eight-time letterwinner at Stanton County High School between basketball and track and field… Team won the 2019 2A State title in track and field, and were regional champions in 2017-2019… Holds the school records in both the long jump (7.23 meters (23-09 ft.)) and triple jump (13.74 meters (45-01 ft.)… Won the class 2A long and triple jump State Championships in 2019 and was named 1st team All-League in all four years (2016-2019)… Was also first team All-League in basketball in 2017-2019 and named 1st team All-State in 2019.

Son of Kenneth and Audrey Puyear… Has two siblings, Keifer and Kinsey… Plans to major in Sports Management.
