Debuted with a first-place finish in the heptathlon at the Bob Timmons Challenge with a total of 5550 points … competed in the 60m hurdles and the high jump at the 2024 KU-KSU-WSU Triangular, placing fifth and eighth respectively … ran the 600 (1:24.27, fourth place), 60H (8.13, second place) and competed in long jump (6.76m, ninth place) and shotput (13.04m, tenth place) at the Black and Gold Invite in Iowa … completed his second heptathlon of the season at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, taking third place with 5491 points … pole vaulted at the KSU Steve Miller Invite with a best mark of 4.68m for tenth place … recorded a season-best performance in the heptathlon at the 2024 Big 12 Indoor Championships, finishing with 5611 points and a bronze medal in a stacked field.
2023 OUTDOOR (So.)
In his first meet of the outdoor season, he finished the decathlon with 7277 points and finished fourth at the Texas Relays … Won the pole vault at the Kansas Relays for clearing 4.92m (16-1.75 ft.) … Achieved two personal bests at the John McDonnell Invitational where he recorded a shotput mark of 14.04m (46-0.75 ft.) and threw the javelin 56.07m (183-11 ft.) … Competed in three events at the Rock Chalk Classic – the 100m, shot put and discus throw, where he placed 26th, 15th and 21st respectively … Finished third at the 2023 Outdoor Big 12 Championships in the men’s decathlon, recording a new personal best of 7671 points in the event … Also recorded new personal bests in the 1500m (4:41.90), 110m hurdles (14.50, which was good for first place), and the 400m (49.44) in the process … qualified for his second-consecutive NCAA Outdoor National Championships … finished his season with 19th place at Nationals, recording 6817 points in the men’s decathlon.
2023 INDOOR (So.)
Finished fifth in the 60-yard dash with a time of 8.21 seconds and pole vaulted 4.30m (14-1.25 ft.) at the Bob Timmons Classic … Achieved a personal best in the high jump at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular with a height of 1.95m (6-4.75 ft.), placing seventh … Finished sixth in the pole vault at the Jayhawk Classic for vaulting a personal best 5.16m (16-11 ft.) … Achieved a personal best in the heptathlon for finishing with 5637 points and finished fourth at the Husker Invitational … Achieved both a personal best and school record for getting 5721 points in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
2022 OUTDOOR (Fr.)
Competed in his first decathlon at the Sun Angel Classic, scoring 7,311 points to win the event … Competed in his second decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, scoring 7,606 points, which are the third most in school history and a freshman record … His performance at the Big 12 Championship qualified him for the NCAA Outdoor Championship, where he earned honorable mention All-America honors, scoring 7,341 points and placing 18th.
2022 INDOOR (Fr.)
Made his KU debut at the Jayhawk Classic, placing fifth in the shot put with a throw of 12.86m (42-2.25 ft.) … Placed third in the pole vault at the Iowa State Classic, jumping 4.70m (15-5 ft.) … Scored a personal best 5,305 points in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championship, placing seventh … His 5,305 points at the Big 12 Championship were the fifth most in indoor school history.
2021 INDOOR (Fr. at Minnesota)
Competed in the heptathlon at one meet, running 7.31 in the 60m and throwing 12.98m (42-07.00) in shot put at the Illini B1G Multi-Meet but did not finish the competition.
2021 OUTDOOR (Fr. at Minnesta)
Did not compete.
High School: Won the decathlon U23 national title at the German Athletics Championships in 2019. He owns a decathlon personal best of 7,452 points.
