As a senior (Fall 2005)… Began her senior campaign with a 224 at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic to place in a tie for 21st… Took home her first collegiate title by placing first at the ORU Shootout with a score of 226, while leading her team to a second place finish… Tied for 25th after carding a 232 at the Marilynn Smith Invitational… Finished in a tie for 31st at the Tyson/Embassy Suites Invitational after carding a 231… Led her team with a 225 as she placed in a tie for 16th. As a junior (Spring 2005)… Finished in a tie for 56th after shooting a 251 at the Texas A&M [quote]Mo[quote]morial Invitational… Shot a 244 to place in a tie for 56th at the Betsy Rawls Invitational… Tied for 44th at the LSU/Cleveland Classic after shooting a 234… Fired a 224 to place in a tie for 32nd at the Mountain View Collegiate… Carded a 230 to finish in a tie for 21st at the Lady Boilermaker Invitational… Led the team when she tied for 26th at the Big 12 Championships after a three-round total of 235. Personal… Born Chelsey Alexandra Pryor on June 14, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pa… Daughter of Charles and Marianne Pryor… Majoring in communications… Calls her grandfather the most influential person in her life because he was such a beautiful person, inside and out… The first things she learned in golf was how to hit out of the sand… When she is most on top of her game she feels confident and relaxed… Advises kids to [quote]Make your own choices, it will be better for you in the long run.[quote]… Her most memorable moment at KU was attending the KU-Missouri football game in 2003 with her teammates, not only because of a KU victory, but she shared it with her team… If she could play one course it would be Pinehurst #2… Her favorite band is Distance to Empty… She lists her favorite movie as Moulin Rouge… Her superstition is if she played well on the first day of a tournament, she will eat the same breakfast on the second day.
