AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13)
Competed in 11 events on the year… Had three top-25 finishes… Best three-round total was 222 at Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Intercollegiate… Finished in seventh place at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational with a three-round 228 as KU won the team title… Wrapped up the year with a tie for 27^th in the Indiana Invitational where she shot a 233 and competed individually.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)

Competed in eight-of-11 tournaments, including four as an individual… Participated in five of six spring events, including the Big 12 Championship… Had an 80.3 average in 24 rounds as a freshman… Best finish of the year was a tie for 24th at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., a three-round 233, her low score for a tournament… Twice shot a low round of 75; in the second round of the UCF Challenge in Orlando, Fla., and in the final round of the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz.

HIGH SCHOOL

Coached by Rich Rivello at West Chester East High School in West Chester, Pa… A member of the National Honor Society as well as the Italian National Honor Society… All-Chestmont First Team selection her junior and senior seasons (2009-10)… Tied for first at the state tournament her senior year and finished in the top-10 as a junior… Qualified for state all four years of high school… Also participated on the boys’ golf team in high school… Named Athlete of the Year her senior year… Played basketball for West Chester East HS as well.

Full name is Gabriella DiMarco… Born in Broomall, Pa… Daughter of Steve and Rose Mary DiMarco… Has one sibling, Giana… Home course is Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, Pa… Dad played basketball at Lycoming College… Her first and only hole-in-one was at Duke University’s golf course when she was 13… An accounting and finance major.
