  • Netted first collegiate goal in the Jayhawks’ 6-0 victory over Loyola-Chicago (8/25).

  • Led team in scoring and assists last season for the Plano West Lady Wolves.

  • Helped the Wolves to the 6A District 6 title in 2015.

CLUB (SOLAR CHELSEA)

  • Spent four successful years as a member of the Solar Chelsea Soccer Club from 2013-17.

PERSONAL

  • Daughter of Fernando Castro-Silva and Cynthia Castro.
  • Has one older sister, Kristine.
  • Has two uncles who have played professionally in the U.S. and abroad: Diego Castro, who played for six squads in his career, including a stop with Hertha Berlin; and Rodrigo Castro, who played collegiately at Indiana before playing with six teams in his pro career.
