Spring 2008 (Freshman):Picked up her first collegiate singles victory at the Hawaii Spring Invitational on Jan. 17… Went 1-2 in singles play at 2-1 in doubles action with Kate Goff at the event… Did not play in any of KU[apos]s dual matches.

High School: Played under coach Joey Cantu… Four-time letterwinner… First player in Texas history to advance to state in all three catagories (singles in 2005, doubles in 2003 and 2004, and mixed doubles in 2006)… Four-time individual district champion… Four-time state tournament competitor… Nationally ranked by USTA as a junior… Junior Olympics silver medalist… San Antonio All-Area Athlete selection… Member of the National Honor Society.
