Spring 2008 (Senior):Recorded a 5-4 mark in singles action playing mostly No. 6… Won three straight duals in Kansas[apos] victories over Saint Louis, UMKC and Eastern Kentucky… Picked up a three-set victory over Iowa State[apos]s Chrissy Derouin on her senior day… Notched Kansas[apos] only point against Baylor with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Natalie Holmes in the No. 6 match… Named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team… Recipient of team[apos]s Academic Award at KU[apos]s postseason banquet. Fall 2007 (Senior): Did not compete in any matches due to an ankle injury. Spring 2007 (Junior): Ankle problems limited her to just 15 matches in which she went 4-11… Notched wins in three of four contests from Feb. 17 through March 10… Played No. 6 in all but two matches… Played in three consecutive three-set matches to end the season… Picked up a win over Oklahoma[apos]s Anne Carter in the first round of the Big 12 Championships… Played doubles with several of her teammates, eventually settling with Yuliana Svistun near the end of the year… The two competed in Kansas[apos] final six duals in the No. 3 position… Earned first team Academic All-Big 12 honors… Named to the Athletic Director[apos]s and Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll after recording a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester… Given the team[apos]s Sportsmanship Award at the postseason banquet.
