Fall 2011 (Senior): Recorded a 3-3 singles record and 4-2 doubles record with partner Dylan Windom during the fall campaign… Invited with Windom to compete in the main draw of the 2011 ITA/Riviera Women[apos]s All-American Tennis Championships, making them the first KU athletes selected to the main draw since 1990… Made it to the quarterfinals, recording victories over teams from Pepperdine and Virginia… Earned a spot in the qualifying draw of the same tournament as a singles competitor… Invited to compete in the ITA Regional Tournament, both as a singles competitor and with Windom… Grabbed two singles victories over individuals from Arkansas State and Arkansas, making it to the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals… With Windom, made it to the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals[apos] main doubles draw, highlighted by a victory over a duo from Big 12 rival Missouri… Ranked 33rd with Windom in the Campbell/ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings and 76th as an individual.

Spring 2011 (Junior): Had one of the best seasons in recent history for KU, earning a ranking as high as No. 65 and was the first Jayhawk to earn a win over a top-30 opponent since 2005… Finished the season ranked sixth in the Central region and No. 114 nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis association for singles play… Went 12-9 at No. 1 singles, including 6-4 in the Big 12… Recorded a major victory over No. 18 Nazari Urbina of No. 25 Texas A&M, defeating her in straight sets… With doubles partner Dylan Windom, ended the season ranked fifth in the Central Region and No. 67 nationally by ITA… The pair went 15-7 in No. 1 doubles play, including a 6-5 record in Big 12 play and a 2-1 record against nationally-ranked opponents… Named to the All-Big 12 Singles team and, with Windom, was named to the All-Big 12 Doubles Team for the spring season… Named the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player.

Fall 2010 (Junior): Recorded a 5-3 singles record and a 5-3 doubles record with partner Erin Wilbert during the 2010 fall season… Was invited to the ITA All-American Championships to compete in the prequalifying singles draw and prequalifying doubles draw with Wilbert, becoming the first KU team since 2007 to be invited to the elite event… Also invited to the USTA/ITA Central Region Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., for third straight season… Was defeated by Mississippi[apos]s Laura van de Stroet in straight sets in Los Angeles, in the pre-qualifying singles round of the All-American Championships… Took No. 18 Anouk Tigu of Arkansas into a first-set tiebreaker, but fell in the tiebreaker before dropping the second set 6-4 in the main draw of the USTA/ITA Central Regional Singles Championship… Opened the San Diego State Fall Classic II with two wins, but fell in the finals of the Red Flight to No. 51 Julia Trunk of the host Aztecs in three sets… In doubles play, advanced to the second round in both ITA events with Wilbert… Knocked off Big 12 team Amanda Craddock and Caroline Larsson of Texas in the prequalifying round of the Riviera ITA All-American Championships in Los Angeles… Advanced to the second round of the main doubles draw at Regionals with a win over Saint Louis[apos] Mia and Hailee Elmore, but lost in the second round to No. 21 Alexandra Kitchoutkin and Jo-Anne Karaitiana of Tulsa.

2009-2010 (Sophomore): Posted an overall record of 14-15 and a dual match record of 10-13 at the No. 1 singles spot… Went 3-8 in Big 12 Conference play… Won a total of 18 doubles matches with teammates Victoria Khanevskaya, Sara Lazarevic and Erin Wilbert… Competed in six singles matches in three tournaments and finished with a 4-2 record… Went undefeated in singles and doubles in the KU Tournament… Received an invitation to the ITA Regional Tournament to compete in both singles and doubles for the second straight year… Won the first singles match at ITA Regionals and went 1-1 in both singles and doubles… Recorded best doubles record with Wilbert, going 8-7 with their biggest win of the season coming against Colorado[apos]s Ania Anuszkiewicz and Monica Milewski…. Morozova and Wilbert downed the No. 72-ranked duo 8-4, on their home court in Boulder, Colo., for their first win over a ranked team of the season.

2008-2009 (Freshman): Recorded a 15-17 overall mark, including a 10-13 dual-match record at the Nos. 1 and 2 positions… Went 10-5 with senior Yuliana Svistun in doubles play… Later teamed up with senior Edina Horvath to go 11-5 in doubles play and finished the season ranked No. 87 nationally… Recorded seven wins with Horvath in Big 12 play and was named to the All-Big 12 doubles team, becoming the first KU team to earn all-conference accolades since 2007… Playing at the No. 1 spot against No. 36 Illinois, Morozova took No. 89 Leigh Finnegan into three sets but fell 6-0 in the third set… Knocked off No. 118 Kristina Doerr of BYU in straight sets for her first career win over a ranked opponent… Recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Nataliya Shatkovskaya in KU[apos]s 4-3 upset victory against No. 70 Oklahoma State… Finished the season 4-7 in the Big 12… During the fall, posted second best singles record on team at 5-5… Advanced to the round of 32 at ITA Regionals.

ITF: Was a standout doubles player as a junior, winning three Russian Championships… Participated in several ITF events in Russia and Eastern Europe. Attended Sport School No. 76 in Togliatte, Russia… Father Igor Morozov was high school and junior coach.

Personal: Born Ekaterina Morozova in Togliatte, Russia… Parents are Igor Morozov and Galina Morozova… Has two brothers, older brother is Ilya and younger brother is Igor… Father was a professional hockey player in Russia, and now coaches hockey and tennis… Majoring in sports management.
