David Lucia, LAT, ATC

Bio

David Lucia joined Kansas Athletics and the Kansas Team Health staff in January, 2022. He assists with men and women’s Track & Field and Volleyball. Prior to his time at the University of Kansas, Lucia worked as a graduate student at Arizona State University with Football and Track & Field. While at ASU, Lucia completed his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. David earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2019. He worked with various teams such as men’s and women’s tennis, swim and dive, football, cross country, and volleyball. David is a native of Castle Rock, Colorado and currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a certified and licensed in the state of Kansas. He is a member of the NATA and is First Aid/CPR certified.
