Bio
Emily Bedy joined Kansas Athletics and Kansas Team Health in 2019 as a Fellowship Athletic Trainer, and was promoted to Staff Athletic Trainer in 2020.
Prior to arriving at KU, Bedy worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Oklahoma working primarily with the Women’s Tennis and Men’s Gymnastics programs. While at OU, Bedy earned her master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration in 2019.
Bedy earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan in 2017. As a student athletic trainer at Michigan, Bedy worked with numerous different athletic teams, a local high school, and PT clinic.
As a native of Yale, Michigan, Bedy now resides in Lawrence. She is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Kansas, as well as a member of the NATA and KATS, and is American Red Cross AED/CPR certified.
