Erin Dunston joined the Kansas football program in January of 2019 as the director of on-campus recruiting. In her role, Dunston is responsible for coordinating all on-campus recruiting efforts with a primary focus on official visits, unofficial visits, game day recruiting programming, junior days and special events.
Dunston arrived in Lawrence from Purdue University, where she served as the athletics administration associate. In her role at Purdue, Dunston collaborated with internal and external personnel to achieve organizational objectives, implement project management processes and assist with community relations and engagement.
Prior to her arrival at Purdue, Dunston spent two years at LSU where she was a graduate assistant with the football operations staff. At LSU she assisted the head coach, assistant coaches and the football operations staff with all daily and game day tasks including team travel, pre-game events and daily scheduling.
Dunston completed her master’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in pedagogy and psychological sciences from LSU in May 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Delaware in May 2015.
