Frank Masterson

Position Assistant Director for Operations/Capital Projects
bio

Frank Masterson started at Kansas Athletics fulltime in July, 2010 and serves as the assistant director of operations/capital projects. His main responsibility is to assist in daily operations and assisting in the planning and implementing of capital projects. Masterson also works as the event manager for women[apos]s soccer, rowing and indoor track and field and assists event staff in all other sports.

He was also involved in the planning and construction of the Anderson Family Football Facility, rowing boathouse, baseball clubhouse and the recent Allen Fieldhouse renovations. He is a member of NACDA.

Masterson served as a graduate assistant for capital projects at Kansas after earning his bachelor[apos]s degree in 2006. He earned his master[apos]s degree from KU in 2009.

Masterson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kan. While there he competed in basketball, track and field and cross country.

Masterson and his wife Pier have one son, Grayson. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife and son, play golf, soccer and do anything outdoors.
