Kathy Frederickson

Kathy Frederickson has worked at Kansas Athletics since July, 1988. She spent 20 years working in the ticket office before becoming the department[apos]s mail services manager in 2008.

In her role she oversees the processing and delivery of mail to all of Kansas athletics offices, oversees outgoing mail and overnight packages, orders and stores all envelopes, letterhead, copy paper and color paper for the department while maintaining the office and department copy machines.

While in the ticket office Frederickson was a ticket office clerk, box office manager, book keeper and customer service representative. Before coming to KU she worked in a grocery store and raised four children.

Frederickson was born in Oakland, Calif., and went to high school in Twin Falls, Idaho. She graduated from Ricks College in Idaho.

She and her husband Dennis have four children: Justin, Nicholas, and twins Patrick and Jodi as well as seven grandchildren, including two sets of twins. She loves spending time with her grandkids, sewing, quilting, gardening, making candy, working with wood, remodeling, her dog and reading. She and her husband are owners/operators of Kathy Frederickson Professional Tailoring.
