Kelli Krebs joined the Kansas University Athletics team in January 2021 and serves as the executive assistant to the athletic director.
Kelli was born in Olathe, Kansas and, as a teen, she and her family moved to Keller, Texas where Kelli played basketball and fastpitch softball. As a pitcher, Kelli earned a scholarship to Ranger Junior College in Ranger, TX where she completed her Associates of Art Degree and was nationally ranked among junior college pitchers in 1987. She was awarded another scholarship to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor where she pitched the team’s first no-hitter.
Before joining the staff at KU, Kelli spent three-and-a-half years as an executive assistant at Sprint (now T-Mobile) and seven years prior to that at B.E. Smith, Inc. in Healthcare Recruiting. She is blessed with a son, Andrew, and a daughter, Haley who have given her two granddaughters and a grandson, thus far. Aside from spending time with her family, Kelli enjoys reading, movies, and sports.
