Naomi Myers

Bio

Naomi Myers started at Kansas Athletics in December 2016. As the Business Office Specialist, she is the main contact for the per diem card program. She also assists with accounts payable and purchasing card program.

Born in Greensburg, KS, she later moved to Medicine Lodge, KS, where she graduated high school in 2002. She then attended Pratt Community College in Pratt, KS, graduating in 2004, with an AAS in Office Administration Assistance. Finally, she attended Fort Hays State University online, graduating in 2006, with a BS in Technology Leadership. While earning her college degrees,  she worked as a legal administrative assistant/bookkeeper/receptionist for a law office from 2002 to 2006. Later, she worked as a bookkeeper assistant/typesetter/account collector at a newspaper from 2008 to 2010.

After moving to Lawrence in 2010, she worked as an accounts receivable specialist for The Olivia Collection, working very closely with KAI Business Office staff on their hotel accounts from 2014 to 2016.

Naomi has four children and one grandchild. She enjoys traveling with her family, maintaining her home’s yard and sunflowers,  creating and collecting subversive oddities, and attending concerts.
