Bio

Susan Borchardt joined Kansas Athletics in August 2015 as a Learning Assistant and is now a Learning Specialist. Susan graduated from KU with a bachelor’s degree in 1998 and a master’s degree in 2000, both in English. In August 2021, she completed her reading education certificate at KU. Prior to joining Kansas Athletics, Susan served as a lecturer in the KU English department, an account manager for an employment screening company, and a youth development professional for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence.

Susan grew up in Wichita, Kansas, graduating from Kapaun Mount Carmel High School. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, vice president and controller at KU Endowment, and her rock star son, Max. Susan enjoys reading, lifting weights, live music, coffee dates with friends, and watching any sport.
