Vince McKamie

Bio

Vince McKamie is originally from Kansas City, KS. Proud alumnus of Sumner Academy where he competed in baseball and basketball.

He earned both his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management as well as his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.

He worked for ESPN Regional and Jayhawk Sports Marketing prior to joining Kansas Athletics in 2008. Initially he supported Men’s and Women’s Basketball student athletes as the Assistant Director of Tutoring. In his current role, McKamie mentors, manages, and monitors the class selection and degree progress for student athletes in the Men’s Basketball and Volleyball programs.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hanging out with family, and staying physically active with weight training and competing in various team sports.
