Zach Kilgore joined the KU Creative and Branding Staff in May of 2021 as the Director of Football Creative and social media, overseeing all graphic design and creative for Kansas Football.
In his role, Kilgore works with the creative and branding team, recruiting, communications, coaches, staff and student-athletes to help create the creative brand of KU football.
Prior to KU, Kilgore served as a new and creative media intern for South Carolina Football, where he created, developed and maintained the look for Gamecocks in the NFL during the 2020 season, which was posted across various Gamecock Football accounts. He also assisted and directed photoshoots for recruits during official and unofficial visits.
Kilgore also assisted during home games, creating statistical and score graphics, photography, and assisting other team members, among other duties. He also served as a graphic design intern for Gamecock Athletics marketing department, where he collaborated with sports information directors to create recruiting graphics, schedule posters, score update graphics, and promotional graphics.
Kilgore studied at the University of South Carolina, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 2021. Prior to his time at USC, Kilgore spent time at Coastal Carolina University before transferring in 2018.
