THE SERIES: KANSAS vs. OKLAHOMA
Kansas has a two-game lead over the Sooners, 22-20, in the all-time series with Oklahoma. The Jayhawks defeated OU, 4-3, in Norman at the two schools’ last meeting in 2015.

SCOUTING THE SOONERS
Leading the Sooners is sophomore Lily Miyazaki. The defending Co-Big 12 Freshman of the Year, Miyazaki finished her first season with a 15-4 record at the No. 1 singles position and 9-5 record at the No. 2 doubles position. The 2015 ITA Central Region Rookie of the Year finished fall 2015 tournament play with a 10-2 record, including an undefeated weekend in singles and doubles at the Northwestern Fall Duals. Miyazaki also won the top singles flight at the UNLV Rebel Women’s Tennis Invitational in November. Oklahoma also returns four other sophomores: Christie Brigante, Malene Stripp, Simran Sethi and Brooke Withrow, along with junior Ann Pepper. OU has senior representation from Emma Devine, who plays at the No. 6 position, and Zita Engbroks, who did not play in the fall due to injury.

THE SERIES: KANSAS vs. OKLAHOMA STATE
Oklahoma State leads the all-time series with Kansas, 29-16. OSU is currently riding a seven-game WIN streak against the Jayhawks. In the two schools’ last meeting, Oklahoma State blanked KU, 4-0, in Stillwater.

SCOUTING THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State enters Sunday’s match atop the Big 12 standings with a perfect 7-0 league record. The Cowgirls are highlighted by the No. 36 doubles pairing of Kelsey Laurente and Maria Alvarez.
