Kansas in the top-25 for fifth-consecutive week

Lawrence, Kan. – Kansas women’s tennis is now the No. 21-ranked team in the nation as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
 
Over the weekend the Jayhawks traveled to Denton, Texas, where they blanked Columbia, 4-0 on Saturday, March 18 in a neutral site match. Kansas concluded the weekend by downing North Texas, 6-1, Sunday, March 19 at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
 
Kansas is joined by six Big 12 teams, including No. 7 Oklahoma State, No. 9 Texas Tech, No. 15 Baylor, No. 22 Texas, No. 27 TCU and No. 34 Oklahoma. The Jayhawks will resume Big 12 Conference play this weekend as they host West Virginia at 5 p.m., Friday, March 24 and Iowa State at noon, Sunday, March 26 at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.
