Rychagova, Smagina begin play at ITA All-American

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas senior Anastasia Rychagova and freshman Sonia Smagina team up to start doubles play in the qualifying bracket Tuesday at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships. Competition is scheduled to take place at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

Rychagova and Smagina begin their qualifying stage against Vanderbilt’s duo of Amanda Meyer and Christina Rosca. First serve is slated for 9 a.m., local.
 
Should the Jayhawk tandem advance out of the first round, they will play again on Wednesday. All doubles teams have to win three matches in order to advance to the main draw of the tournament.
