FORT WORTH, Texas – Kansas seniors-to-be Nina Khmelnitckaia and Janet Koch will be playing in the Oracle ITA National Summer Championships, hosted by TCU, this weekend. After claiming the International Tennis Association’s (ITA) Summer Circuit final at the Jayhawk Tennis Center just three weeks ago, Koch will look to secure yet another ITA title in Fort Worth.

Following her singles’ loss to Koch in Lawrence, Khmelnitckaia paired up with her Jayhawk teammate to claim the doubles championship at the Jayhawk Tennis Center.

This weekend, Khmelnitckaia is seeded No. 13 and is slated to face off against University of Denver’s Anna Riedmiller, who Koch defeated in the quarterfinals of the ITA Summer Circuit in Lawrence. Koch match up against Nell Miller, a Great Britain native. Both Women’s Singles Main Draw matches will be played on Saturday, August 11 at times that have yet to be determined.
