GRACIE VAN DRIEL – DAY THREE | March 3
The third day of the US National Team Open Tryouts was super fun.

We were split up into different teams and were able to play games. The session went by pretty quick because we were all having so much fun.

Overall this weekend was very eye opening and full of learning.

I’m so thankful I got this experience and was able to represent Kansas while doing it.

RACHEL LANGS – DAY TWO | March 2
We got a lot of work done today, and had one session in the morning and one session in the afternoon.

It was a long day but it was really informative and we learned a lot. Its’ been a really cool getting to meet and play with so many new and elite players.

Being in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the USA National Team Open Tryouts is a really special experience and we are all so honored to be able to represent Kansas while doing it.

ASHLEY SMITH – DAY ONE | March 1
Today was a long but productive day for the Jayhawks and myself.

We started our day off bright and early at 4 a.m., and catching our flight to Colorado was rough.

Once we made it to the training center, received our schedules and started to get settled into our dorms, we realized that we are a part of something special.

The first wave of practice was fun because we were able to play and interact with so many different girls who were all there for the same reason as my teammates and myself.
Being a part of the USA Volleyball National Team Tryouts is such an honor and I am proud to be wearing a Jayhawk while doing it!
